Hey Folks-

Just a quick update with the current timeline and what to expect. As usual, I'll add the disclaimer that this is my best guess, and I'm not going to sign anything in blood here, by as we get closer things are becoming a little more granular:

• Orders on backerkit will by locked and charged this Wednesday. You will still be able to update your address if needed. This is because...
• ...Next week (probably Monday 11/8) the first digital distribution will go out through backerkit. This will include the PDF Draft, the Art Pack, the Token Pack, and the PDF Character Sheets (for the folks with those add ons).
• This may include some FoundryVTT things for those ordered it as well, but that will not be complete at this point (likely just the Spells, the Psion, and maybe some other stuff). Fantasy Grounds version will come a bit later.
• The final PDF draft will be out for 2 weeks. This time will serve as the final scouring for any issues, and I'll welcome all bug reports for typos and the like, and make sure the book is as good as it can be.
• After those 2 weeks, I'll do what I can get to get the ball rolling on the printing and shipping. I'm going to be honest here, this will probably not be a fast process - I've been working with folks here over the last few months, and as I'm sure you've heard... nothing is going fast at the moment in this step. But I will keep you folks updated.

I appreciate the patience. I stopped doing the weekly drafts as I realized that compiling the draft was starting to introduce more errors than was being fixed in editing (or at least more relevant ones - as bookmarks and things are a bit more important to folks than other things usually), but next week we'll have a pretty finalized copy. Editors are still chewing, but at that point I'll open it to any and all who have anything they want fixed to submit errors.

I'll post another public update here when the Backerkit delivery goes out, so you won't have to worry about if you missed it somehow if you keep an eye on here or the Kickstarter channel on my Discord.

Weekly Update: Rough Draft 3!

Hey Folks-

Not going to take up too much time as this is right on the heels of the last update for standalone crafting, but I have the new rough draft update.

Status is mostly editing. This includes the changes from the crafting doc wrapped into the main document. Both classes (Inventor and Psion) are well into editing, but it's taking awhile. The editing done so far is incorporated in the draft here.

As far as updates to come, it's mostly editing. There's a few things to add here and there, but with the last sweep to crafting, the lion's share is in there.

• The Augmented template is done, the Warped template still needs another go, but will be in soon.
• There's still some custom content pieces I'm working on.
• The crafting magic items/crafting magic needs to be slotted in somewhere, likely as an appendix to crafting.

In updates and schedules:

• Some folks have been asking about the art and token packs. I think we are only one or two pieces from art being complete, in which case those could go out, but probably makes sense to do those with the "final" PDF draft.
• VTT versions will be breaking ground, I know I've said that for a bit, but as soon as the editing for classes is done, I think it makes sense to get that ball rolling - classes, monsters, and spells are sort of the most immediately in need, so perhaps I'll release those incrementally - still working on how that'll go out.
• The Custom Character sheets are being worked on, and look good - if you want to get a sneak preview or have some input, the person doing them has shared their current state on the discord in #kibbles-drafting-room
